Feel free to use this space to discuss your progress in locating the three red ballons on the Rachel Maddow Show Web site. Details here.
One clue I'll offer is that it's not every segment of the Rachel Maddow show could be called a sing-along segment.

One thing about this contest is that you do have to have been watching the show over the past year. Most of the clues are about the content of the clips, so if you didn't see the clip, the clue won't mean much.
Good luck!!
I has a sad. I went directly to the Ms. Information segment that I thought it would be and NO BALLOON! Poop. And then I watched the "Shagged By A Rare Parrot" clip again, just because I could.
Rachel,
Since you new boss, Brian Roberts from Comcast is a Republican will you be able
to report the truth about his party?
You will be a Republican own network.
Tell me I'm wrong.... :(
Rachel,
Since your new boss, Brian Roberts from Comcast is a Republican will this effect
your reporting?
I see people being less productive at work today.
Rachel,
Your show is one which interviewed translators of the new "convservative" Bible translation (of which many currently exist in English). msnbc also interviewed a Rev. Joe Watkins, from Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, in New Jersey or Philadelphia--it wasn't clear. As a Lutheran pastor, I checked the clergy and congregation rosters of the two large Lutheran bodies in the US (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod), and didn't find any listing for Joe Watkins or Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. It's possible he could be affiliated with a small splinter group, but I'm puzzled about where this guy came from.
I've been watching videos for over an hour and haven't spotted a red balloon. I think my eyes have given up.
Rachel, gay issues: Importantly, there is no empirical evidence in agreement with your guest today. His ideas (not theories) about origins of homosexuality are a fiction of his own creation and should be labeled for what they are. I am the 6th of six sons. I have 5 straight brothers. We all grew up in the same family and I was loved and teased by older brothers and two sisters. I remember my first attraction to a man when I was 5 years old. I am grateful to have married and father 4 wonderful children, all adults now. I have 7 grandchildren. My wife knew I was gay when she married me, sounds crazy, but its true. I was never in the closet to those who knew me. All my family knows I am gay, including my children and grandchildren. I stayed a faithful husband while married, but my wife and I divorced so that she could marry a heterosexual man and I returned to my previous active gay life and we are still friends to this day. I was in showbusiness until 35, became a teacher of classical ballet till 50, then a licensed psychologist in California at 60. I feel I am a wise senior having been blessed with fabulous life experiences and now lead a simple contented life. Your guest today was a scary kind of person. He knows what he does and uses a good deal of energy to maintain a phony 'good person' facade. I am glad you said the things you did. I think I would have been less kind. Your energy and courage are really exciting to watch. Our country is lucky to have you speaking out.

You are WAY too polite to the right-wing wackos who find an audience on your show. Take a cue from Hannity, who never lets anyone in disagreement with him speak more than a few uninterrupted words.
